THOUGHTS TO PONDER
Happy Thanksgiving
Too often at Thanksgiving, we tend to thank God for material blessings such as things
and people. This year, let us take time to THANK GOD for the FACT that HE IS!
If you are a Christian, you know that He Is Real and He Is Present Right Now! As
Christians, We Have a Loving God who is working in the details of our lives to give us
a Promised Future with Him in Heaven! We also have the Assurance that NOTHING
can keep GOD's LOVE from us! Trials will come; yet GOD IS ALREADY THERE and
WILL See Us Through.
Thank You God, For Being You!
1 CHRONICLES 16:34 (ESV):
Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever!
1 CHRONICLES 29:13 (NKJV):
Now therefore, our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name.
PHILIPPIANS 4:4-7:
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to
all. The Lord is nearby. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer
and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which
transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
1 THESSALONIANS 5:16-18:
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for
you in Christ Jesus.
Don't know Christ as your Savior? A = Admit you are a sinner. B = Believe that Jesus died on the
Cross and Rose Again as a payment for your sins. C = Confess Jesus by your mouth and believe in
Jesus with your heart (Accept Jesus as your Savior.)
